Nokia N8 coming in the third week of October

Nokia  has confirmed that they will be shipping the Nokia N8 from the third week in October.

Mobiles.co.uk, who are currently offering the handset for pre-sale, have confirmed that they will be shipping the long-awaited smartphone in Black and Silver from the third week in October. They are currently offering the handset with Vodafone and O2, which shows the handset will be available free from £25.00/month.

This follows the recent news that the Nokia N8 will face further delays, as shipment was set to begin on September 31st.

The Nokia N8 is set to feature a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen, a whopping 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash, a HD video recorder and up to 32GB of memory.

If this news is true, you should only be waiting a few more weeks before you can get your hands on  Nokia’s flagship Symbian^3 smartphone. I wouldn’t hold your breath, though!
